Azerbaijani Finance Ministry warns NGOs

Baku. 1 April. REPORT.AZ/ According to the law "On non-governmental organizations (public associations and foundations)", NGOs must submit annual financial reports to the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan not later than 1 April.

Report informs referring to the information released by the Ministry of Finance.

The rules on "the form, content and manner of presentation of the annual financial report by non-governmental organizations" approved by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers on December 25, 2009.

According to Art. 31.8 of the law, the annual financial report shall be submitted within 30 days.

Notably, for the non-provision of financial statements an administrative penalty under Art. 247-1 of the Code of Administrative Offences will be imposed.
