Market of compulsory insurance of real estate in Azerbaijan decreased by 9%

Baku. 6 August. REPORT.AZ/ In July of this year, 7 893 contracts on compulsory insurance of real estate signed in Azerbaijan.

Report informs referring to the Bureau of Compulsory Insurance (BCI), the amount of insurance payments under contracts of compulsory insurance of real estate amounted to 1,3 mln manats. Among the contracts of compulsory insurance of real estate, 69,4% accounted for houses and apartments, 0,4% - administrative buildings, 30,3%- other real estate. In comparison with the same period of last year, the number of contracts of compulsory insurance of real estate decreased by 4,9%, the amount of insurance premiums decreased by 9,4%.

In July 2015 in the country concluded 369 contracts of compulsory civil liability insurance associated with the use of real property, 9 insurance contracts was signed on compulsory personal accident insurance of passengers. The amount of insurance premiums on compulsory civil liability insurance associated with the use of real property amounted to 27 930 manats. Premiums from compulsory personal accident insurance of passengers amounted to 1 819 manats.
