Foreign investment in Azerbaijan rises by 49%

Baku. 22 February. REPORT.AZ/ In January 2016, 629.4 mln AZN of fixed assets were allocated by foreign enterprises and organizations.

In January 2016, 629.4 mln AZN were allocated to fixed capital by enterprises and organizations in Azerbaijan. This is equivalent to 71.5% of total capital investment.

Report informs referring to the State Statistical Committee, 534.2 mln AZN (84.9%) allocated by investors from United Kingdom, Turkey, Sweden, Malaysia, Russia and Iran.

Funds directed from internal sources to main capital made up 28.5% of total investments.
