Baku Tax Department hosts 'Open Doors'

Baku. 6 April. REPORT.AZ/ Today Baku Tax Department (BTD) under the Ministry of Taxes has held 'Open Door Day' for media representatives.

Report informs, the event started with presentation of the BTD taxpayer service center, which has been reconstructed and expanded.

Then the meeting was held with media representatives at the assembly hall. Deputy Minister of Taxes Sahib Alakbarov presented senior officials of the ministry attending the event and noted regular organization of 'Open Door Day' by the Ministry of Taxes on various fields in order to expand public participation in the decision-making process as well as the meeting being one of these events.

S.Alakbarov provided detailed information to the reporters on the tax system reforms, innovations carried out as well as on structural and personnel reforms conducted in the Taxes Ministry during several months.

Stressing conduction of strict measures to ensure transparency of tax authorities activity Deputy Minister of Taxes noted importance of providing transparency of tax accounting by taxpayers.
