Baku. 18 May. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan Insurers Association (ASA) and IFC (International Finance Corporation) will sign an agreement on the provision of technical support for agricultural insurance. Report informs, the Chairman of the ASA Orhan Bayramov said today.

O.Bayramov said that, ACA and IFC held a meeting on the issue of agricultural insurance: "The meeting discussed the issue of providing technical support in the field of agriculture. It's a preparatory stage. We also discussed the issue of training of experts."

The head of ASA added that, the potential for the preparation of specialists as experts are graduates and students of the State Agrarian University in Ganja. According to him, the experts will be defined by the IFC.

O.Bayramov also stressed that, signing of an agreement with IFC is expected after the Insurance Forum in July, "On July 2-3, Baku will host VI Insurance Forum. The agreement will be signed after this event. The forum will discuss five main themes - establishment of a new insurance product in the region during crisis, property insurance including agriculture, re-insurance, car insurance and life insurance."
