A total of 3,638 people came to Azerbaijan for permanent residence in 2023, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistics Committee The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Migration Service registered 2,483 departures from Azerbaijan.

Report informs citing the State Migration Service that in January-September of this year, the period of temporary stay in the country of 1,517 people was extended, 52,778 people received temporary residence permits, and 2,860 people received permanent residence in the country.

From January 1 to November 1, 2023, 591 people were granted permanent residence permits, the State Migration Service of Ukraine said in response to Report’s inquiry. During this period, 1,291 Azerbaijani citizens received temporary residence permits.
