Contest on recruitment of teachers ends, 1 793 people became teachers

Baku. 19 August. REPORT.AZ/ Final stage (interview) of the centralized competition on recruitment of teachers at Azerbaijan's general educational institutions has been completed.

Report was told at the Ministry of Education, 2 371 people, who collected the pass mark and gained the right to hold a vacant seat, have been invited to the interview.

269 of the invited people didn't participate in the interview, while 1 793 of them became teachers. Interview results of the candidates have been posted on their personal pages.

Candidates, successfully passing the interview stage, should be registered at the enterprises of appointment or at local educational agencies till August 30.

The ministry said that the candidates, which collected relevant pass mark, however, insufficient to the selected vacancy or to the interview or didn't participate in the interview, can take part in the subsequent placement. Available and new vacancies till start of the academic year will be announced in the subsequent placement.
