UNDP ready to support Azerbaijan’s efforts to combat consequences of climate change

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) is pleased to support Azerbaijan in its efforts to combat the challenges posed by climate change, UNDP Resident Representative in Azerbaijan Nuno Queiros said at the School Symposium on Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation, Report informs.
He noted that the UNDP is working with Azerbaijan to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Energy efficiency and green energy will lead to financial stability and diversification of the economy, in order to achieve these goals, all efforts must be combined, he added.
