Trade turnover of Azerbaijan with European Union reduced by 36%

Baku. 26 December. REPORT.AZ/ Foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan with the countries of the European Union in the annual comparison decreased by 4 billion 908 300 000. USD or 35.6%, and in January-November 2015 amounted to 8 billion 892.5 million dollars.

Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee, in the reporting period, exports decreased by 42.7% and made $6 billion 336.8 million dollars, imports by 6.75% to $2 billion 555.7 million dollars.

Notably, for 11 months of 2015 Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with 162 countries in the amount of 18 billion 815.4 million dollars, which is more by 34.73% in comparison with the same period of last year. 8 billion 196.2 million dollars of this accounted for import, 10 billion 619.2 million dollars for the share of exports.

Thus, during the reporting period, 59.67% of total exports, 31.18% of total imports accounted for the EU.
