Positive saldo of Azerbaijan's trade turnover with EU countries down by 3 times

Baku. 17 June. REPORT.AZ/ The volume of exports from Azerbaijan to the European Union (EU) in January-May of this year decreased by 50.12% and amounted to 1 647 723 mln USD. 

Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee, in the reporting period, imports from the EU countries decreased by 20.93% to 906.550 mln USD.

54,02% of total exports and 27,21% of total imports of Azerbaijan accounted for EU countries

In trade with EU countries there was a positive balance of 741,174 mln USD , which is less by 3 times than in the same period last year. 

Last year, a positive balance of foreign trade turnover amounted to 2 161 059 mln USD.
