Illegal "street advertisements" to be removed

Baku. 28 January. REPORT.AZ/ Advertising and Information Administration of Baku City Executive Power has started monitoring of commercial buildings' street advertisements in the capital.

Deputy Chief of Advertising and Information Office of Baku City Executive Power Parviz Abdullayev told Report that legitimacy of information especially the names of objects and the like is checked and unfounded advertisements are removed. According to him, it is a process carried out accordingly and is not connected with First European Games to be held in Baku. "Any advertisement" is regulated in accordance with the law "on the state language". If the written word is in contradiction to the law "on the official language" and there is no explanation of the same word in Azerbaijani, the advertising is prevented from broadcasting. There is no any problem if it has a document, trademark or Ltd. with the same name, " the deputy chief said.
