Deputy Minister: 'One of most important issues is to expand scope of non-cash payments'

Baku. 26 July. REPORT.AZ/ 'Today one of the most important issues is to expand scope of non-cash payments. We have offered non-cash payments a few years ago as well as to calculate VAT 18% to such payments, not 9%. However, it remained just as an offer'.

Report informs, Deputy Taxes Minister Sahib Alakbarov told reporters.

According to S.Alakbarov, the VAT system is fully automated today: 'Currently, 98% of VAT returns is fully automated'.

Deputy Minister also touched upon the issues of tax debts: 'At present, tax debts of taxpayers to the budget is a little bit more than 1.6 bln AZN. Since this year, leave of the country by the legal persons, having tax debts limited'.
