Azerbaijan sharply reduced exports of alcoholic beverages

Baku. 22 June. REPORT.AZ/ In January-May of this year, in exports of alcoholic beverages observed negative dynamics In Azerbaijan. 

Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee, in January-May of 2015, exports of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in the amounted to 9 184.64 thousand USD, which 4 823.94 thousand USD or 34.44% more in comparison with the same period of last year.

In the first five months of this year, exports of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages amounted to 0.17% of total exports.

As the State Committee informed, during the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including vinegar in a volume of 20 453.76 thousand USD, which 6 059.46 thousand USD or 22.86% less in comparison with the same period of 2014. Total imports of these products made 0.5%.
