Baku. 25 December. REPORT.AZ/ The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Ministry of Economy and Industry of Azerbaijan and the General Directorate for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General have developed a joint action plan in order to prevent cases of artificial price, targeting the creation of shortages of goods, and other attempts to abuse due to changes in exchange rate of manat in Azerbaijan.

Report informs referring to the press service of the Ministry of Economy and Industry, in respect of business entities, artificially raise prices and create shortages, as well as individuals have violated the law will be taken very serious measures.

On December 21, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan has made a decision to move to a floating exchange rate regime.
