Azerbaijan non-oil exports increased by 16%

Baku. 12 August. REPORT.AZ/ Residents of Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with 138 legal entities and individuals in January-June, commodities were exported to 88 countries and  were imported from 123 countries.

Thus, there are foreign trade relations with participants of 45 - from Europe, 25 - from America, 41 - from Asia and other countries, Report informs it was said in State Statistical Committee.

The foreign trade turnover amounted to 13 891,6 million dollars, including export volume of 9 193,0 million dollars and imports made 4 698,6 million dollars. As a result the positive balance made 4 494,4 million dollars.

The total volume of exported crude oil, oil products, natural gas, fruit and vegetable and animal fats and oils, sugar, aluminum and aluminum products, plastics and plastic products, chemical products, while in the volume of imported products: ferrous metals and its products, machinery, appliances, electrical machines, equipment, vehicles and their parts were dominated.

In January-June export of non-oil products increased by 16% compared with 2014 and amounted to 870.6 million dollars.
