Director of famous Azerbaijani movies celebrates his birthday

Baku. 13 January. REPORT.AZ/ Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, filmmaker Jahangir Mehdiyev celebrates his birthday.

He marks his 64th anniversary.

He said to Report that he will celebrate his birthday together with his family. A filmmaker noted that he missed to make a movie. He has not made a film for 14 years:"Last time, I made a musical feature film "Haji Gara" in 2000. I have not made any films since then. Of course, there are several reasons for it. I am forgotten recent years. However, it does not discourage me. There are a few scenarios in my creative work file. I am writing. I hope that I will be able to make a film in 2015."

The director of Azerbaijani films "A man's word", "I want to marry", "Don't interfere or they will kill", "Haji Gara" and so on Jahangir Mehdiyev said that he will apply to classical Azerbaijani literature when he makes his next movie: "If I am able to make a film, I will apply to Mirza Jalal this time."
